Rev. Steven M. Aucella
Rev. Aucella serves as pastor at New North Church. A 2013 graduate of Andover Newton Theological School, Steve is ordained in the United Church of Christ. Additionally, Steve is a member of the Hingham Hull Interfaith Religious Leaders Association, chairs the Southeast Area Missions team for the Southern New England Conference of the UCC, and serves on the Committee on Ministry. Previously, Steve has served as a guest preacher in the UCC, mostly covering the South Shore and Cape Cod, with occasional trips north of Boston, and as co-pastor at Promise Church in Weymouth.

Camille Averett
Camille and her husband Dave have lived in Hingham since 2011 and are raising their two children here. Camille is an attorney who served in the Army as a JAG officer and Special Assistant United States Attorney and practiced in the area of civil litigation for a number of years. She now spends her days as a dance/cheer and football mom and volunteering and supporting various causes in Hingham and the South Shore and beyond. Keeping kids safe from drugs and alcohol is a passion of hers due to a family history of addiction. Camille serves as a parent partner with Hingham CARES and loves being active in events and spreading the word about our mission.

Lisa Battista
Lisa is a lifelong resident of Hingham - for 5 generations! She and her husband of 42 years Brian, raised their 3 sons here - all of whom went through the Hingham School system. Now she is a professional volunteer! She volunteers at South Shore Hospital as a Pastoral Assistant and as a Hospice visitor in the NODA program.( No One Dies Alone). She is a member of the Hingham CERT (Community Emergency Response Team), and the CPAA (Citizens Police Academy Alumni). She is an active member in the music ministry at Resurrection Church and longtime volunteer for Hingham's Cabaret, raising money for the Hingham Community center.

Carolan Blackwood
Carolan grew up on the South Shore and moved to Hingham in 2001. She and her husband, Peter, have three children, all of whom attended or attend the Hingham Public Schools. She was involved with the PTO when her children were students at Foster School, and she serves on the Track Boosters Board. Carolan joined the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office in 2014, where she is currently the supervising attorney in Plymouth District and Juvenile Court. She was previously with the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office and has been involved with the specialty courts, which include Recovery Court and Mental Health Court, throughout her career.

Rosemary Byrne
Rosemary Byrne was born and raised in Hingham and returned in 2007 with her husband, TJ. They have two daughters who are in middle school and high school. She is a Nurse Practitioner and works as the Clinical Director of Hyperbaric Medical Solutions, New England. Rose has also served as a member of the Hingham Board of Health since 2022. She is passionate about promoting early education and increasing awareness to keep our children healthy.

Rory Earley
Rory is originally from Cohasset and has lived in Hingham for five years. She and her husband Chris have two kids in the Hingham public schools and both really enjoy volunteering their time with their kids! Her professional career started in government, working for a state representative and then for Mayor Menino’s office of jobs and community service. Since having kids, she has shifted her focus to her postpartum doula practice and most recently has became a certified end of life doula though the University of Vermont. Rory and her husband both lost their fathers to alcoholism and are very passionate about transparency and support to everyone affected by addiction. Rory has a strong belief that speaking to your kids early about addiction is so very important for their success later in life!

Lauren Gadot
Lauren has lived in Hingham since 2012 with her husband and they have two daughters who are now in elementary and middle school. In recent years, Lauren has been involved as a volunteer at East School and is currently an active volunteer on the Parent Committee at Inly School in Scituate. Lauren has served as an alumni interviewer for Georgetown University for over 20 years. Lauren’s academic and professional background is in public health and community health nursing. She has worked in a variety of capacities in the public and private sectors in the US and overseas, including community health programs for women and children in inner Washington, DC. Lauren is interested in promoting education and awareness to help keep our children and families healthy.

Deb Hoffman, R.N.
Deb is a longtime Hingham resident who raised her children here. She serves on the Council on Aging and has been a nurse her entire career. She now works for the Norwell VNA.

Rick Linehan
Rick grew up in Weymouth and has lived in Hingham for 30 years. He was an active board member and past president of Hingham Little League, served on the board of Hingham Community Access and most recently the Hingham Sports Partnership. Both of Rick's children attended Hingham Public Schools and graduated from Hingham High. Rick is an attorney and practiced primarily criminal defense in Plymouth County courts for 12 years prior to joining the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office were he prosecuted criminal cases for 17 years. Rick currently supervises all of the District Courts for the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office.

Karen Monti
Karen is originally from East Marion, NY, and has lived in Hingham since 2003. She and her husband, Lou, have four children, all of whom attended or are attending Hingham Public Schools. Karen has been an active volunteer in the schools, as a youth sports coach, as a member of the Hingham Girls Basketball Board, and as a CCD teacher. She is invested in helping to provide Hingham youth with information to help them make healthy choices.
