Lori McCarthy has been in the field of addiction and recovery for almost 20 years. She is a lifelong Hingham resident and a licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC), a certified Arise Family Interventionist (CAI) and executive director and co-founder of the Herren Wellness Centers.
Hingham CARES is pleased to have Lori as part of the team. In this interview, we "Take Ten" with Lori as she shares helpful information for parents/caregivers and students.

Trooper Jessie Barbosa is a state trooper with the Massachusetts State Police. Prior to that she worked as a victim witness advocate for the Suffolk County District Attorney and also worked in campus safety at a local university.
In our "Take Ten" interview with Trooper Barbosa, we ask her to speak about safety on campus from the perspective of her own experiences as a student and a law enforcement officer.
