The mission of the Hingham C.A.R.E.S is to foster a strong and inclusive community that promotes choosing a healthy lifestyle and informed and responsible choices about drug and alcohol use.
The mission is supported by evidence based, prevention focused, sustainable practices and is informed by data such as from local surveys and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health statistics that help to guide practice and program planning.
Hingham C.A.R.E.S Board
Kristen grew up in Norwell and has lived in Hingham for the past 25 years. Her background is in education and small business management. Kristen is licensed in middle school math and has worked with children of all ages as a private math tutor and a remedial math instructor in local school districts. For two years Kristen served as co-chair of Senior Night at Hingham High School, and she currently sits in the Board of Hingham’s Council on Aging.
Lori, a lifelong resident of Hingham, is a licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, a Certified Interventionist and most recently served as the National Clinical Outreach Director for Gosnold on Cape Cod. As a member of the Senior Management Team, Lori has vast experience working with community leaders and town coalitions to support prevention, treatment and recovery management.
