Hingham CARES is a non-profit organization whose mission is to reduce substance use among youth in our community.  This is accomplished by fostering a strong and inclusive community that promotes healthy lifestyle choices and making informed and responsible decisions. 

Programming is planned around evidence-based practices and is informed by data from the Youth Risk Behavior Survey implemented at the middle school and high school as well as other sources.

The Hingham CARES coalition is also a grant recipient through the Drug-Free Communities Act.
